Since opening the first store in 1993, the idyllic seaside resort of Hornbæk, known for its unique forests and raw beaches, has been a constant source of inspiration for the ILSE JACOBSEN HORNBÆK universe. The iconic rainwear and wellie boots are known worldwide as well as their flip flops and deck shoes. Through past many years Ilse Jacobsen continued to develop the finest products all based on ideas from her beloved beaches and seafront in Hornbæk. Her legacy will carry on in the company ILSE JACOBSEN as she has sadly passed away.
